Billy Brunch
Follow the yellow chick! Billy Brunch is a local classic, a great brunch spot in Barcelona with five locations. The hype is real: Billy Brunch offers the hearty dishes and brunch specialties you’re looking for. Shakshuka, English breakfast, fantastic pancakes, pancakes with eggs and bacon, spinach omelet, and many vegan options – your brunch fantasies come true at this Barcelona brunch spot. A big plus is the friendly service, the option to sit outside, and the cute corporate design (spot the yellow chick around the city).

Gringa All Day
Make American breakfast great again… Gringa is the Californian diner we didn’t know we needed. With amazing chicken waffles (!), fish tacos, pancakes, blueberry waffles, milkshakes and other American specialities they stole our heart at the first visit. Gringa clearly differentiates itself from other brunch spots in Barcelona and that's what we love about it. Not only from a culinary perspective, Gringa has its own handwriting and makes every visit a special brunch experience. On the weekends you can expect a queue as they don’t take reservations.
Good news for everyone who is in Raval: Gringa has a sister in Raval too (where you actually can make reservations)

Cremat11
If you're looking for delicious pancakes, Cremat11 is the place to go. The American brunch restaurant is one of our favorites - here, you can enjoy a variety of four-tier (!) pancake creations with passion fruit, chocolate with wild berries, and caramelized bananas. But if you're more in the mood for something savory, this is also the place for you. Every day from 10 am to 4 pm, you can get delicious Eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, breakfast burgers, pancakes with bacon, and much more. We also like that Cremat11 has a lovely terrace on a quiet square for the often crowded El Born.

T 44
If you attach great importance to aesthetics at brunch, T 44 or Taulat 44 in the quiet Poblenou is the place for you. The café and brunch restaurant opened in 2023 and is a real feast for the eyes. The minimalist and stylish design extends from the silver metallic plates to the presentation of the delicious cakes and brunch specialties. It's best to see for yourself. The T 44 has already experienced a big hype in Barcelona after a short time - this may be due not only to the great design but also to the unusual brunch creations such as green hummus and "fosforitos" and the excellent coffee. When you enter the brunch restaurant in Poblenou, the smell of frog-baked carrot cake and croissants wafts into your nose.
Address: Carrer del Taulat, 44, 08005 Barcelona
District: Poblenou
Caravelle
Caravelle is a true classic in Raval. You sit here in a cozy atmosphere and have a great selection of homemade breakfast dishes, specialty coffee, cocktails, and artisan craft beer. With roots in Australia and London, this Melbourne-style café arrived on the scene back in 2012, ushering in a new era of brunch and specialty coffee in Barcelona. Caravelle takes its coffee seriously, offering expertly brewed drinks using beans from local roasters.
We recommend trying the French toast, the croissant waffle, and the homemade (and not too sweet) made-by-hand soda cans in bright colors. Salads and healthy bowls are suitable for those who prefer a more nutritious breakfast.
By the way, if you are too lazy to go to the brunch restaurant in Barcelona, you can also order a delicious breakfast delivered to your home.

Picnic
Are you ready for a deluxe picnic? Welcome to Picnic – one of our favorite brunch spots in Barcelona.
Picnic Restaurant is a family-run restaurant that has been running for ten years near the Park de la Ciutadella. The dishes are creative with Latin American influences. The menu is full of flavorful surprises, from classic dishes like fluffy pancakes and eggs Benedict to more adventurous options like Pulled Pork Eggs Benedict and Chilaquiles. Each dish has fresh, high-quality ingredients and is beautifully presented. Our menu highlights are the Eggs Benedict with salmon, the Huevos Rancheros, the French toast, and the fried green tomatoes. We prefer to sit on the large terrace (it's worth booking). Enjoy your meal!
Address: Carrer del Comerç, 1, 08003 Barcelona
District: El Born
Lato
Latin vibes in the heart of Barcelona: Lato stands for unique flavors that combine the best traditional Andean cuisine from Ecuador with a Mediterranean touch. Lato is unique, exciting, and incredibly delicious. Each dish is a work of art—fusion brunch at its best.
Be sure to try their creation, “Bikini Manaba" (poached eggs on sourdough bikini filled with Latin cheese, ham, and roasted banana) and the ceviche. You can also enjoy delicious cocoa and coffee here. Lato is a beautiful part of Barcelona's brunch scene that we don't want to miss.

The Egg Lab
As we all know, you eat with your eyes: The Egg Lab is one of Barcelona's most aesthetically pleasing brunch restaurants. However, the brunch spot with three different locations in Barcelona impresses not only with its futuristic design with colorful walls and organic shapes but also with its menu. Here, you will find – as the name suggests – egg dishes in their highest form. With a lot of creativity, you will find the perfect Eggs Benedict (an excellent recommendation is the Korean Chicken Benedict variation), Mexican Eggs Rancheros, and sourdough bread with kale and sautéed mushrooms. The Egg Lab's motto is "feel good, be good" – we could hardly imagine a better place to feel good.

Raw Studio
Raw Studio in the northern district of Sarrià is a dream come true for anyone who loves Scandinavian-style minimalist design and places great value on local products. The service is excellent, and healthy treats compose a good menú for breakfast and brunch. In addition to avocado toast with a 6-minute egg, the menu includes cardamom brioche, overnight oats, and cinnamon rolls. In the evening, the Raw Studio becomes a great natural wine bar (find out more about natural wine in Barcelona here). Perfect for breakfast with friends or a healthy snack between meals.

District: Sarrià
Trópico
If you're looking to take your taste buds on a culinary journey, Trópico Barcelona is the place to be. With two locations in the city, this popular brunch spot offers a unique experience where you can explore flavors from around the world without leaving your table. Trópico is perfect for those who crave variety and love trying new breakfast creations. This colorful café allows diners to sample global flavors, from Latin American delicacies to Caribbean-inspired treats.
The popular brunch spot also offers a large selection of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free dishes. We recommend the cachaca (a Venezuelan specialty), the bombing pancakes, and the arepas.
